Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born on the 9th of August, 1963 on the 9th of August, 1963 in Newark New Jersey. She is the child of the gospel music legend Cissy Houston(nee Emily Lee Drinkard), and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney Elizabeth Houston's sister Dionne Warswick is also a singer.
